Two of the earliest examples of the luxurious and iconic Jaguar E-Type will be put up for auction at Silverstone Classic Live Online Auction. The year in which the event celebrates its 30th anniversary takes place online from July 31 to August 2.

The particularity is that these magnificent classic cars go to auction without reservation, that is, without minimum bids, nor reserve prices. Which means that these two legendary luxury cars will be sold to the highest bidder in the auction. The two models are obviously from the year 1961 (year of manufacture of this beautiful model) and are part of the SA-30 collection, and retain all the original features.

Both belong to the same collector, the roadster model manufactured on September 25, 1961, the first month the car was launched for public buyers was acquired in 2012. The coupé model was completed on November 30, 1961 and was acquired in the 90s. Recently, they have had some restorations, particularly in painting, and are now able to be driven. Despite belonging to the same collector for several years these fantastic classic cars will be sold in separate lots.

Nick Whale, director of Silverstone Auctions says that: "These two E-Types are just the best you could possibly ask for. To have the opportunity to own two of the earliest cars in this condition is an extremely rare opportunity. "To own two with the same color bodywork and interior is quite rare and Silverstone Auctions are extremely honored to have been asked to sell them for our client, a well-respected collector."
