The latest luxury creation by British company RBW Classic Electric Sports Cars has just been revealed, the RBW EV Roadster, fully electric and inspired by the iconic classic MGB Roadster of the 60s. This fantastic luxury car is the result of collaboration with Continental Engineering Services and Zytek Automotive, in which all studies took place over 3 years. The developed technology makes it possible to place the electric motor on the rear axle of the car and the lithium-ion battery under the front hood. In order to guarantee an effective weight distribution and to favor all dynamics and behavior.

The suspension of the new EV Roadster is completely independent and the braking system is capable of energy regeneration. The cabin was designed by Prototrim and features modern conveniences, including a multifunctional digital panel, tactile Pioneer infotainment system with Wi-Fi, smartphone connection and satellite navigation and high-quality audio.

“The technology can even be applied to other classic model bodies such as the Austin Healey, Jaguar E-Type and Mini. Our creations can be built according to the client's personal taste and we have a large number of options available”, mentions Peter Swain, general manager of RBW Classic Electric Sports Cars.

The new electric has about 100hp of power and reaches 100km / h in 9 seconds. For now this specimen is still a prototype, but its production will start next year. Only 30 units will be built at prices starting at £ 90,000 (€ 98,959) without tax.
