The A Group, a Monaco-based naval architecture and design company founded in 1985 by Richard Hein, joined forces with young yacht designer Thibaud Le Merdy to create a 83-meter luxury giant.

Project Comète (as the project is called) results from the collaboration between The A Group director Matt Pegrum and the young designer Thibaud, thus combining tradition and innovation.

This luxurious yacht with elegant and dynamic lines, has a 3.6 meter draft, a 15 meter beam and a huge 1800GT interior.

The layout offers accommodation for 12 guests, along with 22 crew members. The owner's suite has a private terrace of 120 square meters and offers magnificent views of the sea. It consists of an external front hall of 220 square meters, a spa overlooking the bow, a glass bottom pool on the upper deck and two Jacuzzis.

It also has a large garage that can store two 10-meter fishing boats and a 7-meter crew boat, and it also has space to accommodate eight jet skis. Regarding propulsion, the yacht will have a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

"Project Comète can be described as the first project that brings the outside in and the inside out due to its revolutionary arrangement". A spokesman for The A Group said. "Comète is for an owner who is willing to breathe fresh air and be close to the sea at all times". And even though this concept is intended, “to provide the perfect balance between spaces open to the surrounding nature and clean and refined forms”, added the studio.
