New 80m superyacht from Vitruvius Yachts

London-based design studio Vitruvius Yachts has revealed the first images of its latest superyacht concept. It is an Explorer yacht of 80 meters. The design of this new yacht follows the lines of Vitruvius' 55m Shinkai, built by Feadship in the Netherlands and delivered in 2021. The naval architecture also follows Shinkai, with her steel hull created to perfect efficiency and adhere to the latest industry criteria. for sustainability.

 

 

This super yacht will be built on the same platform as the Shinkai. As explained by Philippe Briand, founder and designer of Vitruvius Yachts. “This new vessel represents Vitruvius' vision of the ideal explorer superyacht. She maintains her superyacht DNA through the innovative design of her exterior, as well as the exceptional space and comfort offered by her interior.”
The yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, owners will be able to add an observatory option, which will provide a space of 22 square meters for guests to enjoy.

 

 

Briand also revealed that the yacht will have an autonomous range of 6,500 nautical miles which will allow the yacht to complete transatlantic voyages. 

 

 

This new concept is expected to reach a top speed of 19 knots with a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots.
