Extra Yachts, brand of ISA Yachts, announced its first model of a new line of motor catamarans, with the name of X30 Villa. As the name implies, the luxurious catamaran has a length of around 30 meters.
As the name implies, the catamaran has a length of about 30 meters. This new model was designed to “offer the unrivaled livability of a home with the efficiency of a catamaran”, and to provide owners and guests with a “more relaxed experience and a new definition of pleasure on the water”.
The exterior design maintains the identity of the shipyard, which is based on the extensive use of panoramic windows, with large social areas and an open stern that promotes access to the sea. The X30 Villa has a huge aft cockpit, which can be configured however the owners wish. As Extra Yachts noted, “Creative architectural details such as the aft saloon ceiling that extends outwards convey a sense of a much larger social area when the doors are open. To further amplify the interior feel of the aft cockpit, loose furniture and accessories were chosen.”
The interior is characterized by urban details combined with earthy materials in a smooth look. Walls are finished with textured plaster, polished concrete panels are complemented by stone window tops that contrast with matte metal and walnut furniture. Its smart design is also felt in the master cabin, which is a true masterpiece of innovation. Nestled between the two hulls, it features a relaxation area with sofas and a sleeping area, while the headboard with private spa is located on a lower level, the glass-bottomed private terrace can be lowered.
The catamaran will be equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that significantly reduces CO2 emissions. "Consumption efficiency is increased by glass-impregnated solar cells that produce additional energy for on-board utilities."
In terms of performance, the X30 Villa will be 320 GT and will be powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines. It is believed to have a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a top speed of 17.5 knots.
