Bizzarrini is an Italian sports car brand, founded in 1964 by the engineer of the Ferrari 250 GTO, Giotto Bizzarrini, a brand that only existed until 1969, he was also responsible for the classic sports car Bizzarrini 5300 GT. The brand was acquired in 2020 by the Kuwaiti company Rezam Mohamed Al Roumi from Pegasus Brands, an international dealership that represents luxury brands such as Aston Martin Lagonda, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Koenigsegg, among others.

Rezam Al Roumi planned to build a modern sports car that would be the continuation of the 5300 GT, thus giving rise to the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Revival Corsa.
The Bizzarrini 5300 GT Revival Corsa, has just been completed, or rather a prototype, only 24 examples are scheduled, will be hand-built by an experienced team of craftsmen, at Bizzarrini's new UK facility.

This reproduction is as close as possible to a reproduction of the winning car in its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965, with the Bizzarrini emblem and became known as the 5300 GT. It was equipped with Chevrolet's 327 V8 engine, with 5.4 liters of displacement, and a power of 365cv in the Strada version or 400cv in the Corsa version. It has a BorgWarner T-10 four-speed manual gearbox and independent suspension on the rear wheels and disc brakes on all four wheels.

One of the only points that diverges from the original is the materials used for the construction of the body. In the 60s, Bizzarrini used fiberglass, the new version will be made of carbon fiber, lighter and stiffer.

Deliveries to customers will begin in May, although pricing is still unclear but could start at £1.65m (approximately $2.16m). However, as is usually the case with these types of cars, they have probably all already been reserved.
