To make this edition even more exclusive, the prestigious luxury brand Bentley and announced the changes made to the penultimate car of this model leaving the factory.
The first Bentley Mulsanne was presented at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, after a decade and more than 7,300 units sold. Among them there are two variants, one even more exclusive and luxurious created by Mulliner and launched in 2012, and another more performance-oriented with the name Speed for being much more powerful and having a better performance of this luxury car.
During these years there have been some updates made to the Mulsanne both in terms of interior and exterior, among which the wider front grille, updated headlights, in the interior in the longest variant of the model there is more space in the rear seats.
For this special edition called the 6.75 Edition by Mulliner, which is based on the Speed version, only 30 units were manufactured. With a level of exclusivity and luxury difficult to match and almost impossible to overcome. Starting from the outside, it has 21-inch alloy wheels, chrome panels on the headlights, a new mesh radiator grille. Some exclusive emblems with the inscription “6.75 Edition” have been placed on the car door lighting, which is projected on the floor when the door opens, on the engine cover, and on the front wings of the car. In the body, Bentley replaced the standard silver color of the standard car with black. The engine number plate (which is usually signed by the engineer who designed the unit) will be signed by Bentley President and CEO Adrian Hallmark.
Hallmark stated, “I am immensely proud of the hundreds of designers, engineers and artisans who have helped bring Mulsanne to life over the past ten years. From now on, and as we begin to define, at Bentley, the future of sustainable luxury mobility, through the implementation of the Beyond100 strategy, the responsibility of being the Bentley flagship passes to the Flying Spur ”.
This special edition also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the famous Bentley 6.75 liter V8. That is why the name of the edition was “Mulsanne 6.75 Edition”, in addition to all its mechanics being similar at all. Inside, each model has a commemorative plaque placed on the center console, and on the back of the seats the exclusive Edition 6.75 badge is embroidered. With a price higher than US $ 342.300 ( 305.000 € ), it is known that the penultimate unit is already destined for a buyer in the United States.
