17 classic Mercedes at auction

This is a private collection of 17 Mercedes-Benz and a Chevrolet Roadster. They are all fantastic luxury classic cars and some are unique. This collection is on auction online until mid-December.

1- 1938 Mercedes-Benz 170VS Roadster - First registered in June 1938, it was described by its manufacturer as a 'two-seater off-road sports model' and is considered a rarity as only about 30 units of all 170VS and 200V variants. (price estimate: € 195-205,000)

 

2- 1934 Mercedes-Benz 170 Sport Roadster - These models were built between 1931 and 1936, this car is one of only three built and is the only one that still exists. (Price estimate: € 250-285,000)

 


3- 1936 Mercedes-Benz 230 Cabriolet B - The W143, was one of the best sellers in its time, more than 19,000 sold between 1936 and 1941, this one in particular comes from France and goes up for auction with Dutch registration documents has little more than 65,500 miles traveled. (Price estimate: € 125-140,000)

 


4- 1951 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A - Mercedes unveiled its W187 220 range at the Frankfurt Motor Show in April 1951, offering it in the Cabriolet A and Cabriolet B body styles, and this example was recorded for the first time only two months later. (Price estimate: € 105-115,000)

 


5- 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet A - The production of the 170S Cabriolet A lasted until November 1951 and only 830 units were produced. The item to be auctioned was a model first shown to the world at an exhibition in Hannover in May 1949. (Price estimate: € 120-140,000)

 


6- 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220S Cabriolet - It is one of the youngest cars in this impressive Mercedes-Benz collection. And it is one of 2178 built between July 1956 and October 1959, it has 66,190km (Price estimated: € 120-130,000)

 


7- 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet B - With only 1,603 built, almost 70 years since the end of production, this may be one of the largest collections of this model in the world, and it has little more than 400km. (Price estimate: € 100-130,000)

 


8- 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet B - Imported from Norway, with restoration started, but it needs a few more touches. (Price estimate: € 75-80,000)

 


9- 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet B - The engine and gearbox have been overhauled, so that this classic Benz is working well (Price estimate: € 60-70,000)

 


10- 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet B –  It is the fourth in this W136 quartet and has been meticulously restored to be very close to the “new” condition. (Price estimate: € 110-130,000)

 


11- 1959 Mercedes-Benz 220S - We changed to a different model, with this W180 sedan, also called 'Ponton' models were the first Mercedes-Benz six-cylinder unit body models. It is the latest car in this collection and also one of the most affordable. (Price estimate: € 16-18,000)

 


12- 1935 Mercedes-Benz 200 Cabriolet C - These models are rarely seen and this classic was sold as new to Denmark, returning to the Germany in 2010. (Price estimate: € 100-110,000)

 


13- 1939 Mercedes-Benz 170V Roadster - Like so many cars in this amazing collection, this W136 has been expertly restored and should certainly be one of the best examples left. (Price estimate: € 200-210,000)

 


14- 1953 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A - It was registered on January 2, 1953 and is two years younger than the other 220 Cabriolet A present in this collection. (Price estimate: € 105-115,000)

 


15- 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupé - This is the only coupé in this collection, a car that was delivered new in California and is in the possession of this collector for about a decade. (Price estimate: € 38-41,000)

 


16- 1951 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A - This is the third 220 Cabriolet A and the second dark green example from 1951 (Price estimated: € 130-140,000)

 


17- 1949 Mercedes-Benz 170V Cabriolet B - The W136 was the first model that Mercedes resumed production after the Second World War. And from the Mercedes collection this is the latest model up for auction. (Price estimate: € 60-70,000)

 


18- Chevrolet Roadster 1932 – The last car in this magnificent collection is not "just" the only non-Mercedes, it is also the oldest and has the largest engine. This impressive black roadster with a 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine. (Price estimate: € 35-39,000).
