1 - Foners - Maximum speed: 70.1 knots

The yacht that currently occupies the first place in the speed ranking is the Foners, a yacht built in 2000 at the Allisteros Bazan shipyard in Spain. It is the royal yacht of King Juan Carlos of Spain. This luxury yacht topped this list with a top speed of 70.1 knots. The Foners are powered by two 1,280 hp MAN engines and three 6,700 hp Rolls-Royce Marine gas turbines that power three Kamewa water jets and measure 41.5 meters.
2 - World is not Enough - Maximum speed: 67 knots

Built in the Netherlands in 2004 by Millennium Super Yachts, World is not Enough is currently the second fastest yacht in the world. Designed by naval architect Frank Mulder, this beautiful yacht is one of the few to have crossed the 65 knot limit. It is powered by two Paxman 18VP185 diesel engines and two Lycoming TF 40 gas turbines. Measuring just over 42 meters in length, this yacht can accommodate 10 people in luxurious comfort.
3 - Wally Power 118 - Maximum speed: 65 knots

Wallypower 118 is a luxury yacht built in 2002 by Rodriquez Intermarine. Featuring a three-jet, double-screw propulsion system. This yacht consists of three DDC TF50 gas turbines and two 370 hp Cummins engines. With 36 meters in length it is also one of the most luxurious boats, and can accommodate up to six passengers in luxury.
4 - Gentry Eagle - Maximum speed: 63 knots

Powered by a water jet propulsion system and 6 gas turbine engines, this yacht can reach a maximum speed of 60 knots. It measures about 50 meters in length, and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 passengers and crew.
6 - Chato - Maximum speed: 57 knots

Occupying sixth place is this elegant luxury yacht Chato, it is an all-aluminum yacht that was built in Italy in 1986 by the Baglietto shipyard. With a maximum speed of 57 knots, it was one of the fastest yachts in the world for more than three decades. The Chato has two MTU 16V 396 TB94 engines, measures 25 meters and can comfortably accommodate up to six people.
7- Azzam - Maximum speed: 55 knots

In seventh place is this magnificent and luxurious Azzam yacht built in 2005 by the world-renowned manufacturer Pershing. One of the 10 yachts in its popular Pershing 115 series, this yacht is 35 meters long and can reach a top speed of 55 knots. The Azzam is equipped with a Vericor gas turbine and a central booster that gives it an impressive maximum power of 12,500 hp. 8 - Ermis2 - Maximum speed: 55 knots

With the same speed as the previous yacht is Ermis2, built in New Zealand by McMullen & Wing in 2007, Ermis2 was designed for fast and efficient trips. This yacht has three MTU 16V 4000 M90 engines, which gives it a combined power of 10,944hp and a maximum speed of 55 knots. 37 meters long, it can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and 4 crew members.
9 - Swift - Maximum speed: 53 knots

Built in 2014 by the Italian shipyard AB Yachts, Swift is the largest of four models in the AB116 series, designed by Marco Arnaboldi, with a maximum speed of 53 knots. The Swift has three MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel engines of 2,400 hp and a maximum power of 7200 hp and measures 36 meters.
10 - Mamimo II - Maximum speed: 52 knots

Last but not least, Mamimo II, built by Magnum Marine, in Florida, was launched in 2007 and was the first model in the Magnum 80 series. Its exterior was designed by the automotive design company Pininfarina. It reaches a speed of up to 52 knots thanks to two MTU diesel engines. Measuring 24 meters, this impressive open yacht can accommodate up to six people in luxury.
