The Time Out Market in Lisbon changed from Chef, the place formerly occupied by Chef Miguel Laffan former Chef of the Land Vineyards restaurant and currently with the Porto de Santa Maria restaurant in Cascais, will be occupied by Chef João Rodrigues in charge of the award winning restaurant Feitoria at the Altis Belém Hotel & Spa, the new venue opens in May, when the market celebrates five years.
For Chef João Rodrigues, the great challenge will be to have to adapt the type of cuisine he makes in Feitoria, to the scale of the market but stresses: "For the place where this space is integrated, what I am going to do will be market cuisine based on product available from the station. It will be a food full of flavor and simple, but always of great quality. And even if it is a kitchen of scale, we will always work with organic and Portuguese products and with respect for the stations».
The menu of the new space will feature fish, seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, along with fabulous desserts to end every meal. Joao Rodrigues will join other Chefs also present in the Time Out Market, such as Henrique Sá Pessoa, Miguel Castro e Silva, Alexandre Silva, and Marlene Vieira.
