The 5-star Grand House Hotel, formerly the Hotel Guadiana, was inaugurated in Algarve - Vila Real de Santo António.
This hotel was built in the early 20th century, more precisely in 1923 when it opened.
It was built by the industrialist Manuel Ramirez, due to the need to accommodate domestic and foreign merchants in Vila Real de Santo António.
Designed by the Swiss architect Ernesto Korrodi, in an architecture characterized by the influence of various styles and tastes of the time, in a transition between the aesthetics of Art Nouveau and Classical Composition. Being a hotel of charm elegance and refinement at the time.
Nowadays, it has been refurbished maintaining the original layout, transformed into a luxury hotel, adapting to the current characteristics and requirements of a five-star hotel.
